Updates
Hello. It's been a long time since I actually wrote any updates on my blog. I have decided to start blogging again and will soon send it out through an email, since some of you prefer to have it there as well as for those of you who are not into Facebook.
I'm sure a lot of you have heard about what I am going to be doing in couple of days, but just in case you don’t I am sending this update. Here are some more details on what I'm actually going to be doing, why I am doing it and what it will look like. I am still in a process of creating an overview of my passion and vision for the future in a clip, but I will save that for later. In a week
I will be starting a school called CAR (Children at Risk), which focuses on children who grew up in unhealthy homes or have a rough background or family life. I'm sure you have noticed or heard that I have a big heart and passion for children and young people in general. God has seriously put children on my heart and it can sometimes be overwhelming, yet they seem be drawn to me and trust me.
God has led me to do this school, and I am very excited. When I said yes to His heart for these little ones, I immediately wanted to go and do something. Yet I know that I am not just going to be sitting in class, but preparing myself for the future. For when God says to do something, I always know it's important and needed and He has also been showing me why He wanted me to do the school.
What often affects you the most in your life is your child hood; I think all of us know that. Now there are thousands of children at risk, they don’t choose the environment they grow up in or who their parents are. So often they don’t experience true joy and love and it hurts not only their childhood but also the rest of their lives are affected in a bad way. I could tell you a lot of stories of children I know who grow up and were considered at risk children, some of them are very close to me. Yet a lot of you probably wouldn’t have time to read through, so i'm doing a short clip with some of that.
This school will be very helpful and a good tool for God's calling for me, as I plan to start a children center back at home. I will share more about that on the clip.
No as you know children are very expensive and a big gift from God, to do this school as well is not cheap. School fees are 10,000 rand, 620 in euros and 700 usd.
